Early Words

<19/02/2003>

At around 12 months we thought we heard Oliver say the words "water" and "bubble" but they have since had little use. A couple of months later he started using his own words/sounds for certain objects, these namely are:

Wah Wah Wah Aeroplane
Diggar Dah Helicopter
Choo Cho Train
La La La Lorry
Nee Nar Ambulance/Police/Fire Engine or anything with a siren
Wee Wee Unfortunately not referring to urinating but believe it or not 'wheels'
Uh Oh! Oh dear!
Laaaa Lion
Sssss Snake
Ow Ow Ow Monkey

Oliver has now been saying the odd words for a couple of months but I haven't thought to make a note of them until now and so the order may not be precisely right:

Water A word we're sure he said but not used anymore
Bubble First used for blown bubbles with a wand at around 12 months then later for other things, including baubles on the Christmas tree Dec 2002
Dirty I distinctly remember this first being used in Aug 2002. Has recently become a word he uses when he soils his nappy too
