Another mysterious picture

Try to guess what this is a picture of. Just for fun, no brilliant big money prizes for guessing what it is, but I can tell you that the photograph was taken on 2000-07-08 somewhere in Cambridgeshire

What it is

A swashplate assembly for a helicopter. (Actually from a Huey helicopter in the American Aircraft museum at Duxford). Congratulations to an two people who both guessed. One was Mr. Steven Brown from south East London, and another was a nameless person who happens to work for Bell Helicopters division of Textron inc.

Prize winner of the competition number 1 was: Mr Philip Drawbridge of Tunbridge Wells correctly identified the picture as part of the Millenium Dome.He won a vodka and tonic.

The winner of last week's mystery picture was William Hulley of Finchley, who also wins a vodka and tonic.

The winner of competition number 3 was a regular of this competition, Mr Philip Drawbridge of Tunbridge Wells, who wins whatever the quizmaster feels suitable the next time he meets.
