"Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk this earth with your eyes turned skywards. For there you have been, and there you will wish yourself to be again." - Leonardo da Vinci
After 23 months of having my PPL, it's become time to prove to the CAA that I can still rember how to fly simple, single engine aircraft. This could be done in two ways: I could either have taken a skills test again, pay an exam fee and so on, and then send off the paperwork, or just clock up at least 12 hours of flight time in the last 12 months of flight, with some time being instructional flights. This is the route I chose, with some of that instructor time being used to get a check-out on the club's Cessna 172, which makes a change from the PA28 Warrior/Archer line.
First flight with passengers - to cambridge and back
Second flight with passengers - over Kent and East Sussex
Third flight with passengers - over Reading and Haslemere
